Introducers Arrangement
Omnibus
Omnibus accounts tend to be used by Brokers which have full back office and in-house futures/forex accounting facilities.
The Broker transacts all business for his clients and one account is opened in the name of the Broker.
In some cases we provide electronic trading platforms with sub account capability.
Disclosed Client
A Fully Disclosed account is opened by individual clients of an Introducing Broker ("IB"). Each client completes the
MF Global Direct account opening documentation. To enable the IB to place orders on his behalf the client completes a
Power of Attorney authorising the IB to trade. The IB shares in the commissions charged to the client by MF Global Direct.
To operate as an IB it is necessary to satisfy MF Global Direct with respect to ethical and financial integrity. In addition, the IB needs to demonstrate that it is operating from a business area covered by its own regulatory
authority.
Introducers
MF Global Direct will, under certain circumstances, arrange to pay a fee, or rebate a share of a client's commission in
return for introducing a client. Any such fees paid to a third party may be disclosed. Introducers have no control or
influence over the running of the accounts.
